Med-Impact Summer 2025 Global Giving: The Bahamas Red Cross Society

Our First Donation

On June 13th, we had another first for EmpowerMed. We completed Med-Impact's first Global Giving onsite initiative to the Bahamas Red Cross! 
We made nearly 60 EmpowerPacks, which are sealed bags with our label on them, filled with sunscreen, lip balm, sunglasses, toothpaste, a toothbrush, shampoo, a comb, soap, band-aids, and aspirin.

These items were chosen as they symbolize our respective soon-to-be professions with the needs of the community in mind.

About The Visit

During our visit, we were welcomed and escorted on a tour by Ms. McKenzie, Red Cross Manager, and Donna Burrows, the kitchen manager. They were delighted to receive the donations!
